Highlights from the Day

• Over 100 people took part in Uncle Bill’s Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, learning how Indigenous knowledge and care for Country guide Merri Merri Wayi.

• Over 60 people gathered around the Fireside Yarns, sharing their voices and ideas to make Merri Creek safer and more welcoming.

• More than 50 participants joined the Melbourne Playback Theatre session — laughing, reflecting, and expressing through performance.
